We are pleased to announce the launch of our activities as the General Incorporated Association As iZ.

The name As iZ carries two important meanings. First, it expresses the idea of valuing oneself as is. Second, by adding the final letter Z, it symbolizes diversity from A to Z and conveys our wish to create a society where no one is left behind.

Our work has its roots in LOVE Quebec, a youth support organization established in Montreal, Canada, in 1993. Today, LOVE operates across three provinces, providing safe spaces for young people. Its programs focus on cultivating the ability to understand, express, and share emotions through photography and dialogue. By encouraging self-expression and peer connections, the program helps young people build confidence and strengthen self-understanding.

As a result, many participants have developed resilience, gained the ability to face challenges, and achieved higher high school graduation rates. In 2024 alone, LOVE delivered its programs to more than 2,000 youth across 42 sites, including schools and child welfare institutions.

In 2023, we began our activities in Tokyo, and now we are taking the next step by expanding to Fukuoka.

As iZ will continue to walk alongside young people across Japan, striving to realize a society where no one is left behind.
